Having enough food to eat is a basic human need and at Kate’s Project Trust we are keen to supply even a basic set of rations to the absolute neediest of the families living in the slums. The “food drop” usually consists of at least 50 bags of food containing rice, noodles, oil, canned fish and some snacks.
These vital supplies can be supplemented with vegetables and some meat on occasions and rest assured that they are much appreciated. On some occasions the Food Drop is also use to distribute some plants and seeds to encourage the growing of fruit and vegetables on local plots.
